House of Compassion Ministries welcomes personal testimonies. However submitted stories must be free from comments of a vulgar, obscene, profane, defamatory, libelous, abusive, threatening, or harmful nature and must not include any comments that might constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any civil, national or international laws.

House of Compassion Ministries reserves the right to edit, according to its sole discretion and without prior written or verbal permission, any submitted story exceeding the 1,000-word limit until the total length of the testimony is under the word limitation. All reasonable efforts will be made to keep the author’s original intent clear and concise. Submission of testimonies to this ministry implies the author’s agreement with this policy.

House of Compassion Ministries reserves the right to correspond via email or, if supplied and with permission, via phone calls with those individuals submitting testimonies for the purpose clarification on any matter relating to the posting of their story, the ongoing safety and anonymity of the sender, questions relating to the nature or request of fictitious name, or for providing any requested spiritual encouragement and support until such a time these services are no longer desired and clearly communicated to this ministry.

Law Enforcement and Legal Disclosure

House of Compassion Ministries may disclose the personal identity of those individuals submitting testimonies in accordance to and compliance with a government institution that has asserted its lawful authority to obtain such information or, where in the opinion of House of Compassion Ministries, it has reasonable grounds to believe the release of such information may be helpful in the investigation of unlawful activity or comply with a subpoena or warrant or an order made by a court, person, or body with jurisdiction to compel the production of such information.

House of Compassion Ministries has no control over, or liability for, those person’s use and disclosure of such personal information, and that use and disclosure is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
