How to Submit
Your Testimony |
It is our privilege to provide a forum for sharing how lives have been changed through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Sharing such stories not only reminds us of what Jesus has done in us and for us, but it proclaims to the world “the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy”. I Peter 2:9-10.
Such proclamations shatter the lies of the devil who says to abused women, “God doesn’t hear your prayers. You’re not good enough for His attention. He doesn’t care about your pain. He isn’t strong enough to help.”
In reality, nothing could be farther from the truth. God is passionately in love with each and every one of us and is willing to redeem and restore any woman who will call upon His name. This is the message of hope beaten and broken women desperately need to hear.
If you would like to inspire other women by sharing your stories of triumph please email us at contact@houseofcompassion.org . Enter “TESTIMONY’ in the Subject line. Limit your story to 1,000 words or less and place your text in the body of the email. We will not open any attachments whatsoever. When writing your testimony, it may help to consider the following tips:
- Your life before Christ – What problems/struggles were in your life? How did you find happiness, pleasure, fulfillment at that time? How did those pursuits disappoint you?
- Receiving Christ – How did you hear about Christ? How did you receive Him? What did you say/do? What struggles did you go through in receiving Christ? What happened the moment you asked Christ into your heart?
- After Christ – How has your life changed since then? What changes have you made in your life since receiving Christ? What behaviors, attitudes, habits, thought patterns, life-style changes have been made since receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior?
“And they defeated him (Satan) because of the blood of the Lamb
and because of their testimony.” Revelation 12:11.
"I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings and shall not be ashamed."
Psalms 119:46
